Originally, our external shots were going to be taken of a Jobcentre in Belfast in order to establish the scene by showing the main character entering it, however, as our plot has changed we are needing to reconsider what we can use to show that this is a dating service. Upon research, many dating agencies in Belfast are purposely discreet in their signposting outside so this has become a difficulty and we may need to think outside the box or change from external shots to simply beginning with a shot of the serial killer sitting down, getting ready to talk to the camera, or even by showing him walking to a reception desk and signing in. This idea would mean that we can personalise the signs on the desk and create our own name and look for the dating agency.
As for the setting of the main part of the film, we are going to look in to using the Careers' Room in our school after hours as it is spacious with comfortable, low seating beside tables with flyers and posters much like a waiting room and less like a classroom.
For the interview room itself, we are simply going to need a small to medium sized room with little decoration and a desk. From this, we can add posters, books, computers and more to make the scene come to life.
